Baita del Ciliegio

LOCATION: Inserted in the splendid setting of the Lagorai chain, at the foot of Mount Fravort, the Ciliegio hut located in Paicovel, is the ideal base for a holiday dedicated to nature and relaxation, but also offers many opportunities for lovers of outdoor sports. Thanks to the large green spaces that surround it, the house enjoys great tranquility despite being easily accessible by car. Located on a hill at 1000 m. 1600, from which you can enjoy a splendid view of the entire valley, the Ciliegio hut is the perfect starting point for hiking itineraries on foot and by mountain bike. The surrounding mountains offer, in fact, hundreds of km of high-altitude paths, mostly created from old mule tracks from the First World War, among woods, pastures, trenches dug into the rocks and numerous alpine lakes.

FEATURES: Completely renovated cabin maintaining the original features with exposed stone walls and wooden elements. Equipped with all comforts, the structure is on two floors. On the ground floor the open space living area – with paneled walls – features a kitchen with wood stove, large dining room and living room with a delightful fireplace built with recycled old wood and stone cladding. The first attic floor, however, houses the sleeping area: two bedrooms – one double and one with two single beds – with an exposed wooden roof, larch flooring and solid wood furniture for a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Each floor is equipped with toilets: complete bathroom with shower on the ground floor and a toilet in the sleeping area.

SERVICES:Bar-Restaurant Alle Pozze, Agritur Rincher, Rifugio Serot and Agritur Paradiso reachable in a few minutes by car or on foot. Supermarket and food shops in the nearby municipalities of Ronchi Valsugana (8 km) and Roncegno Terme (12 km). In Roncegno there is also a pharmacy, bank, tourist information office and in the sports area a golf course and tennis centre. In the nearby town of Borgo Valsugana, 15 km away, there is the S. Lorenzo hospital and the emergency medical service. Also in Borgo Valsugana at the sports center there are two swimming pools, one of which is covered. The mushroom picking permit can be requested from the Municipality of Roncegno Terme.
