Baita Moretta

LOCATION: The Baita Moretta is located in Cenone – Val Campelle, a locality belonging to the town of Scurelle. At approximately 1400 m above sea level, it is in the heart of Lagorai, a wild mountain range without significant intervention by man, who has preserved its original beauty here. An ideal place for a relaxing holiday, it is also suitable for outdoor lovers: from quiet walks to mountain trekking and mountain biking. Even in winter, there are many possible activities: skiing mountaineering, sledding, snowshoe excursions and finally cross-country skiing (the hut overlooks a slope). The hut can be reached all year round, thanks to a comfortable and asphalted road. A place certainly also suitable for families and mountain hut lovers, where you can relive a rural experience with an ancient flavour. Wide choice for hikers, as there are many possible walks, some suitable for everyone, others only for the most experienced. Caldenave, Conseria, Montalon, Nasere, Cima D’Asta, are just some of the places to go to enjoy breathtaking views.

FEATURES: In 2016, the cabin underwent a major renovation and expansion, which modernized and adapted the structure to today’s needs, but with the aim of keeping the tradition and specificity of the place alive. The interior furnishings are in solid fir wood, accompanied by elements in Luserna stone and restored wooden pieces. The external stone part, combined with the larch windows, gives the structure a modern, rustic and warm style. The cabin is equipped with comforts such as independent heating and wood stove, dishwasher, fridge, oven, sofa, washing machine and bathroom with shower. Furthermore, it has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with single beds (to which it is possible to add a cot for babies). The harmony of the materials used expresses an essential and relaxing environment, immersed in a spectacular and peaceful place, for an unforgettable holiday.

SERVICES: The Baita Moretta is located in Cenone – Val Campelle, a locality belonging to the town of Scurelle. The village – where you can find grocery and butcher shops, a bank, pharmacy etc. – is located downstream, about 12 km away. However, upon request, we provide a home shopping delivery service. Furthermore, the closest hospital is located in Borgo Valsugana, 15 km away. Near the hut you can find some bars / restaurants, refuges. Furthermore, in the summer it is possible to visit mountain huts and farms, where you can buy fresh and matured dairy products.
